Tugboats
Both Pushboats and Tugboats are classified as Towboats. Tugboats are found on the rivers and inland waterways as often as they are found near major shipping ports on the Gulf, Atlantic or Pacific coasts. The Great Lakes also make use of them for Great Lakes Shipping. This searchable database lists most of the commercial tugboats registered in the U.S. as of 2006.
